Why You Should Donate to TechKNOWLogic

Let's face the fact: building a robot is expensive. We try to keep our team contribution to a minimum so that cost is not a barrier to our students getting an excellent education in STEM.

In addition to team participation fees, we try to secure grants from local companies where our parents work. However, with the crowded robotics field in SE Michigan, securing funding is not easy.

📢 What's in it for you?

We are grateful for our esteemed donors and want to give back. Based on the size of the donation, we showcase your company name on our robots, team uniforms (for major donors), and team banners. In the future, we will also highlight our sponsors on our team website. Donations are tax-free, and we can provide our tax ID upon request.

💡 What can you donate?

Donations can be in:

•Cash
•Grants
•Lending of equipment
•Providing a workspace
•Your time — as a guest speaker or mentor in STEM, robotics, AI, or project management

🔧 How will the funding be used?

100% of your donations will benefit the team. We use grants to:

•Purchase game equipment and replace worn-out inventory (motors, gears, etc.)
•Participate in FTC tournaments
•Host outreach programs and promote STEM education

All spending is carefully tracked and documented, with regular financial statements shared within the team.
